Visit PA

Over the weekend (Sunday through Tuesday) I traveled to PA to visit family and friends. Sarah was sick and had to stay home so this was a solo mission. Visiting with my family was a lot of fun and hopefully in spring I will get down again and maybe even do some fishing. My sister and I hung out Monday. We shopped, visited family and relaxed.
I saw some friends Brian and Chris. Chris helped me with my big "project" and I am very grateful for all his help. We also stopped at Cabelas and can you believe they did not have a fly box I wanted to see. They also did not have the holster Chris was looking for - this, my friends, is funny.
I got to see and spend time with my parents, which is always good. Mom cooked too much (I'm still full - thanks mom) and dad and I talked work, house projects, weather and life. They both filled me in on town stuff. These visits are a lot of fun because there is no real plan just visit and relax. Oh - and play with their dog Charlie! He is a fun little (big now) black Cocker Spaniel.
On my way out of town, along with the normal cases of beer (we can't get Yuengling in MA), shoofly pie, eggs, childhood pictures and fishing gear, there was one last thing to pick up - Sarah's grandparents bedroom set. The I hauled the car and the set home!
So all in all it was a full trip. Guess what I forgot to buy?  My PA fishing license. This is my reason to get back again. Thanks for reading and there will be more info on that reel in a later post (remember it's the year of the bass)
